I have a young horse with a very sensitive back.  We could never find a saddle pad combination to suit her.  She was always a bit humpy when we started our lope as if she was trying to adjust everything to be comfortable.  The first time I used this pad, she hadn’t been ridden for 4 months.  When we started our lope you could tell she was anticipating the pain that would come.  After a few strides, and no discomfort, she relaxed.  No more fidgeting and rocking!  She had been under saddle for over two years and uncomfortable all that time needlessly.  Amazing!

While in Colorado on a horse ride, I didn't bring my short dressage girth.  While getting 3 sets of horses ready, I didn't get that girth in the trailer!  So...I borrowed one a bit too long.  Okay on the flat - then we went on a trail ride that included a 1/2 mile downhill switch back.  The saddle NEVER moved.  Very, very impressed.  Use them for my therapeutic riding program also.

I was riding up a mountain in snow when I felt something against my boot.  I looked down and my cinch was broken. I got off and tried to fix it and couldn't.  Then without thinking, I put my boot back into the stirrup and swung up on the horse, before I thought, what am I doing?  There is nothing holding this saddle on but this pad.  Then I rode back down the mountain without a slip.  Incredible pad!
